ABOUT THE PATTERN
The Paper Bag is a quick and easy pattern using techniques as Turkish cast on, stockinette stitch in the round and double stockinette stitch. Knitted on large needles, you’ll have a new bag in your wardrobe in less than 3 hours.
MEASUREMENTS
L 17.5 x H 13 cm
YARNS AND MATERIALS
Approx. 25 g of Rafaella from Hobbii (100% Raffia Paper, 100g = 130/135 m)
Circular needles 12 mm [ 80 cm ]
Tapestry needle
GAUGE
Gauge: 8 stitches x 8.5 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch on needle size 12 mm.
Make a swatch to achieve the same gauge as indicated above. Needle size is only a guide. If you get too many stitches on 10 cm = 4”, change to a larger needle size. If you get too few stitches on 10 cm = 4”, change to a smaller needle size.
