ABOUT THE PATTERN
The Mini Socks are a very fun design to wear and quick to knit. They are knitted with very fine mercerized cotton for a soft and comfortable feel on the feet.
This pattern is suitable for advanced beginners.
SIZES
34-35 / 36-37 / 38-39 / 40-41 / 42-43
The sizes above correspond to the following foot circumferences:
21 (21.5) 22 (24) 25 cm.
MEASUREMENTS
The Mini Socks have approximately 3 cm of negative ease, meaning the socks are about 3 cm smaller in circumference than the wearer’s foot.
The ease mentioned above is already included in the pattern instructions.
Finished sock circumferences:
34–35: 18 cm
36–37: 18.5 cm
38–39: 19 cm
40–41: 21 cm
42–43: 22 cm
YARNS AND MATERIALS
Approx 20 g of Coton Cablé n°5 from Distrifil, color n°16 (50g = 175m, 100% Cotton)
Alternative yarn: Rainbow Lace from Hobbii, Phil Perle 5 from Phildar, Câblé 5 from Mondial Tissus.
Circular needles 2 mm [US0 / UK14] 80 cm
Circular needles 2.5 mm [US1.5 / UK12] 80 cm
Crochet 3 mm [USC/2 or D/3 / UK11]
Tapestry needle
GAUGE
Given the small size of the design, the gauge is provided over 5 cm instead of 10 cm.
14 sts x 24.5 rows = 5 x 5 cm, in Stockinette stitch, on circular needles 2.5 mm [US1.5 / UK12].

Provisional cast on.
Magic loop.
Stockinette stitch in the round.
Folded hem bind off.
