Description
ABOUT THE PATTERN
The Rose Mini Skirt is worked from the top down in reverse stockinette stitch, holding two strands of sequin yarn
together. It features an A-line shape with an elasticated waistband and a ruffled hem.
This pattern is suitable for intermediate-level knitters.
For a perfect matching outfit, pair it with the beautiful Shimmer crochet top by Rose Svane. Together, they create a chic
and playful look.

GAUGE
Knit a stockinette stitch swatch and measure the gauge on the right side, where the knit stitches are visible. Due to the
sequins, the tension may be slightly uneven, and the gauge can vary depending on where it is measured.
To get an average stitch gauge, I measured in 3 different spots on my swatch and in 3 different spots for the row gauge. – Add up the number of stitches counted across the 3 locations and divide by 3. – Do the same for the row gauge, dividing the total by 3.
You should obtain the following gauge: 17.6 sts x 24 r = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch, 2 strands of yarn held together,
on needle size 4 mm.
Make a swatch to achieve the same gauge as indicated above. Needle size is only a guide. If you get too many stitches
on 10 cm = 4”, change to a larger needle size. If you get too few stitches on 10 cm = 4”, change to a smaller needle size.
When knitting stockinette in the round, the gauge may vary.
The average gauge when worked in the round is: 17 sts x 24 rounds
