YARNS AND MATERIALS
For a solid-color version, you will need:
Approx. 115 (130) 145 g of The One Cotton by Wool And The Gang.
(60% recycled cotton, 20% linen, 20% TENCEL™ / 100 g = 170 m / DK weight).
For the 4-color version (shown in the photos), you will need:
– Approx. 50 (50) 50 g of The One Cotton – Emerald Green
– Approx. 50 (50) 50 g of The One Cotton – Butter Yellow
– Approx. 50 (50) 50 g of The One Cotton – Tomato Red
– Approx. 50 (50) 50 g of Shiny Happy Cotton by Wool And The Gang – TV Static (100% cotton / 100 g = 142 m).
NOTE: For the brim, I used both The One Cotton and Shiny Happy Cotton. Although these two yarns have slightly different thicknesses, this does not affect the appearance of the stitch.
If you prefer, you can use the same yarn throughout the entire hat. In other words, you can make the whole project using The One Cotton only, or any of the suggested substitutes listed on yarnsub.com.
