ABOUT THE PATTERN
The Orange Trousers are worked from the top down on circular needles. Start your work with a provisional cast-on, then work the elastic waistband in the round in stockinette stitch, then work the body in net stitch until the legs separation, then work the legs in the round in net stitch.

Sizes above correspond with the following waist measurements :
58-63 (64-69) 70-75 (76-81) 82-87 (88-93) 94-102 (103-111) cm
Measure your own waist circumference to determine which size will fit you the best.
YARN AND MATERIALS
Approx. 250 (250) 250 (300) 300 (350) 350 (350) g of Coton 3 from PHILDAR (50 g = 121 m)
Circular needles 2.5 mm [ 80 cm ]
Circular needles 3 mm [ 80 cm ]
Circular needles 5 mm [ 80 cm ]
Crochet Hook 4 mm
Elastic 35 mm
Tapestry needle
GAUGE
26 stitches x 35 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch on needle size 3 mm. Measuring the net stitch can be particularly tricky. Create a stockinette stitch sample to pinpoint the perfect yarn and needle size for knitting your Orange Trousers.
Make a swatch to achieve the same gauge as indicated above. Needle size is only a guide. If you get too many stitches on 10 cm = 4”, change to a larger needle size. If you get too few stitches on 10 cm = 4”, change to a smaller needle size.
