ABOUT THE PATTERN
Inspired by my love for the ocean and my passion for surfing, I’m thrilled to share the Ocean Hat pattern with you. This original design is one of my favorites, and I can’t wait for you to create your own version. In this tutorial, we’ll explore working with a variety of colors, and I’ll guide you through my technique for achieving smooth color transitions.

YARN AND MATERIALS
For this project I used Cascade 220 Superwash merino wool in the color white, rusty orange, beige and brown. You will need a 4.5mm crochet hook, scissors, stitch markers and a yarn needle.

Gauge Pattern:
• Stitch Used: Half Double Crochet (HDC)
• Swatch Size: 10×10 cm
Gauge Measurement:
• Stitches: 16 stitches per 10 cm (8 stitches per 5cm)
