ABOUT THE PATTERN
The Fausta Bralette Top is knitted bottom up, firstly underbust band is worked (in the round), then front flap, which is a bottom of the bust (worked flat) and lastly bust gussets are formed in two (horizontal) sections: section in the round and section working flat after stitches of the back are bound off. Next, the front is bound off but live stitches on each side are left to continue working on the straps, which at the end are attached to the back.
SIZE
There are two sizing options you have to choose to follow this pattern: underbust and cup size.
Underbust sizes: 1 (2, 3, 4) (5, 6, 7) (8, 9, 10, 11)
Sizes above correspond with the following chest measurements:
64-68 (69-73, 74-78, 79-84) (85-89, 90-94, 95-99) (100-104, 105-109, 110-114, 115-119) cm.
To choose correct size, measure directly under your bust, wrapping measuring tape somewhat tightly around your ribcage. If your underbust measurement is between sizes choose a smaller size.
Cup sizes: A (B, C, D) (E, F, G)
Sizes above correspond with following measurements, when bust measurement minus underbust measurement is approximately:
9-11 (12-14, 15-16, 17-19) (20-21, 22-24, 25-27) cm.
To choose correct size, measure around your bust on a widest spot and subtract underbust measurement from it, this difference determines your cup size. For example: underbust measurement is 71 cm, bust measurement is 83 cm. Difference is 83cm – 71cm = 12cm. Cup size is B.
MEASUREMENTS
Pattern is written so that bralette has about 40% negative ease.
Meaning the measured bralette should be approx. 40% smaller in circumference than your actual body measurements.

YARN AND MATERIALS
Approx. 100-300 g of Merinocot from Lana Gatto 50 g = 125 m / 136 yds (there is table in the pattern giving more accurate yarn quantity for each size combination)
Circular needles 3 mm (60 cm or 80 cm)
Any needles 2.5 mm (only for binding off)
Removable stitch markers
