Description
ABOUT THE PATTERN
The Betty Jacket is worked from the top down in garter stitch, holding four strands of yarn together. The Soft Lash yarn adds a soft, fur-like texture, while remaining lightweight, making this jacket ideal for spring.
Start your work with the back yoke, followed by the front yokes, and then continue with the body of the jacket. The sleeves are knit in the round. Finish by working the collar and sewing on the snap buttons.
Then, using a crochet hook and cotton yarn, work slip stitches along the collar, the lower hem and around the armholes to add structure and help prevent stretching.
The construction itself is not particularly difficult; however, the texture of the yarn can reduce stitch visibility. For this reason, the pattern is recommended for intermediate knitters.
