The Miami collar is worked flat on circular needles in doube stockinette stitch, giving it a thick and super cozy texture.
The Soft Lash yarn is extra soft and very comfortable to wear.
The pattern itself is not particularly difficult, but due to the nature of the yarn, it is recommended for intermediate skill levels.

One Size.

MEASUREMENTS
Lenght (around the neck): approx 45 cm
Lenght (bottom of collar after increases): approx 55 cm
Height: approx 11 cm

Approx 150 g of Soft Lash from Hobbii (100% polyamid, 50 g = 210 m)
Color N°06
Circular needles 3 mm (US2.5-3 / UK11) [ 80 cm ]
Circular needles 5 mm (US8 / UK6) [ 80 cm ]

Markers
1 Spring metal hooks size 1 or 2

GAUGE
24 sts x 40 rows = 10 x 10 cm in Double Stockinette Stitch, in double stranding on needle size 5 mm
In double stockinette stitch, every other stitch and every other row contracts as you knit.
This means that if you cast on 24 stitches, only 12 stitches will be visible after a few rows. The same applies to the
rows.
In my 24 sts × 40 rows swatch, when measuring 10 × 10 cm, I see 12 sts and 20 rows.

The Back to School Tie is knitted back and forth in garter stitch. Start from the tip, continue with the body, and finish with the other tip. To complete, work a folded edge all around the tie.
This pattern is suitable for advanced beginners.

MEASUREMENTS
Lenght: 99 cm
Width: 10 cm

YARNS AND MATERIALS
Approx. 100 g of Tendressima from PLASSARD (50% wool, 50% acrylic, 50 g = ±200 m)
Colors n°20 and n°51
NOTE: I used this yarn as part of a collaboration, but I absolutely do not recommend it. Below are some alternative yarn suggestions that are more enjoyable to knit with and of better quality:
Arwetta from Filcolana
Jawoll from Lang Yarn

Circular needles or double pointed needles 3 mm [US3 / UK11 ] [ 20 cm ]
Circular needles 3 mm [US3 / UK11 ] [ 120 cm ] to knit the border all around the tie.
Tapestry needle

GAUGE
28 sts x 46 rows = 10 x 10 cm in garter stitch on circular needles 3 mm [US3 / UK11 ].
Make a swatch to achieve the same gauge as indicated above. Needle size is only a guide. If you get too many stitches on 10 cm = 4”, change to a larger needle size. If you get too few stitches on 10 cm = 4”, change to a smaller needle size.
Wash and block your swatch.

The Jimmy Scarf is a very easy-to-make pattern using leftover yarn. Start your work with a classic cast-on, then knit the ruffled border, continue with stockinette back and forth, and finish by working the second ruffled border.

MEASUREMENTS
Length: 162 cm
Width before the edges roll inward: approx. 9 cm
Width after the edges roll inward: approx. 3 cm

YARNS AND MATERIALS
Approx. 55 g of leftover yarns. The following yarns were used in the pattern: Cashemire Premium from Lang Yarn – Baby Alpaca from BC Garn – Organic Brushed Alpaca from Kaos Yarn (double stranding).
NOTE: In this pattern, different yarn thicknesses are used. To achieve approximately the same thickness, I occasionally knitted with two strands held together and at other times with a single strand.

To achieve a consistent thickness, the scarf is at times knitted with a single strand of yarn and at other times with two strands held together. You can employ yarns typically used with 3 to 4.5 mm needles for this purpose.
